Midweek League Division One campaign starts with a win.
The Hamilton Crescent XI began their Midweek League Division 1 Campaign with an emphatic win over Tunnock's Uddingston
Having lost the toss the team went out to bowl with openers Dan Graveling and youngster Ross Wilson both taking early wickets. Captain Jesse Mills brought on the slow bowlers next with Mike Ashworth, Ben Robinson and Liam Howgate all taking wickets which were falling regularly.
Uddingston's tail were not able to add to the low total as the last wickets fell to Mike Ashworth in successive balls leaving the Hamilton Crescent XI with 59 runs to win the game.
Skipper Jesse Mills went out to bat and started off in trademark style with early boundaries hitting a quickfire 19 runs before being caught. Andy Galloway replaced him in the middle and saw the game home with the other opener Chris Ross who finished the innings with a stylish cover driver wrapping up the win in six overs.
