McCrea West of Scotland vs. Glasgow Accies

2 weeks ago By David Hinchliffe

Team for WDCU Division One match

The second half of the season begins with McCrea West of Scotland playing Glasgow Accies. West won the first match against Accies this year, but lost their first league game last week. Accies are on a poor run with three losses in a row so will be striving hard to turn around their form against the league leaders.

West are close to full strength. James Fennah and Cammy Gibb both return. Overseas keeper - Nick Boller - has an injured hand while rising student cricket star Jesse Mills is away. So, pace-loving gym-bunny Gurj Singh gets his first nod of the season. With Gavin Smith bowling raw pace in the nets this week, McNulty in rare form and professional Ramanayake living up to expectations (bowling average of 7.47), it's bound to be fireworks from ball one.

The full West side is,

Gregg Watson (c)
Jon Fearn
James Fennah
Toby Gardiner
Cammy Gibb
Tony Hulatt
Dave McNulty
Hashen Ramanayake
Gurj Singh
Gavin Smith
Ian Young
