Suns out, guns out!
West of Scotland pre-season gets underway this weekend in and around Glasgow, especially at Hamilton Crescent.
On Saturday (13th April), we are calling on all club members and the wider community to come down and help: The club will be making its final preparations to the ground and clubhouse to be ready for the season. Starting at 10.30am.
On Sunday, the cricket finally starts with Hamilton Crescent XI taking on Glenpark at Greenock. Captain Mike Ashworth looks to prepare the new team for their Division Four campaign
Club cricket training is running every evening from 6pm for all teams. Indoors if the weather is poor and outdoors otherwise. For more information regarding training please contact us.
The following weekend (20-21 April) we have five pre-season games: McCrea West of Scotland will be welcoming Royal High Corstorphine to Hamilton Crescent on Saturday whilst Partick will take on Helensburgh at Ardencaple.
On Sunday 21st April, Partick will host Hillhead whilst McCrea West of Scotland travel to Greenock.
West of Scotland Women make a trip to Galloway: the first outdoor game played by a Women's team representing the club.
Admission for home games is free at the Peel Street entrance. Please come down to support your local club and enjoy Partick's - perhaps even Glasgow's - finest back garden.
