“Women’s cricket has never been more popular.”
McCrea West of Scotland are delighted to announce the launch of Women and Girls Cricket at Hamilton Crescent in Partick.
The weekly drop-in sessions, run by our experienced coaching team, start on Wednesday 18th July at 6-8pm.
Women and girls of all ages, experience and ability are welcome: From complete beginner wanting to get fitter and have a go, to experienced female players. There there is good coaching, good facilities and - most of all - a fun way to play team sport.
The sessions are family-orientated so young ones can get involved with the soft cricket ball programme, which runs at the same time as hard cricket ball practice.
Women's cricket has never been more popular in Scotland. And it's clear why; playing cricket is superb way to get fit and compete in a skill-based sport with friends and family. At West you get the chance to be new part of a club with a tradition of over 150 years. For the ambitious and talented players, there is also a pathway from club through to regional and International cricket with the Wildcats.
For more details on the sessions, contact us. Or just drop in anytime after 6pm on Wednesday 18th July (running late is still great).
