I have a question about fees…
-
Membership costs range from £50 to £220. Please visit https://www.westofscotlandcricketclub.co.uk/membership to find the membership for you.
-
Our membershp runs from January to December so new membership fees are due when you join. Part or full payment must be recieved before being eligible to play any fixtures.
-
We offer the ability to split your membership cost over several months. If you require further support, please let us know and we’ll do our best to help.
-
If you join after September, we don’t charge the full membership fee.
Instead, we offer a £30 winter training fee, which allows you to train with the Club until January of the following year. Please note that this fee is for training purposes only and does not include the benefits of full membership.

I have a question about training…
-
For Winter 2024/25, the senior training schedule is:

There may be opportunities for members to train outside of formal sessions. However, as we host many external hires and community groups, availability can be limited. If you're interested, please get in touch to discuss options.
-
All training takes place at West of Scotland Cricket Club, located at 40-44 Peel Street, Glasgow. We’re fortunate to have an indoor school, enabling us to train at the ground year-round, regardless of the weather.
-
To join training, please inform our Membership Secretary of your interest and sign up via Spond.
Spond is the app we use to manage the playing side of the Club, allowing members to register for training sessions and matches.
Contact woscc.membership@gmail.com for the code.

For your first few sessions, there’s no need to bring any equipment—general gym wear and a drink will do perfectly! If you’d like to bat, other members are usually happy to lend their kit.
In the long term, however, it’s best to source your own equipment, as the Club does not provide shared gear.
I have a question about membership or match selection…
-
Anyone is welcome to become a member. We offer a variety of membership options to meet diverse needs. If you’re unsure which membership is right for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out for assistance.
Please note that all membership applications are subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
-
Welcome to the sport of cricket! While we don’t currently offer a dedicated session for beginners, you’re more than welcome to join our training sessions.
Our members and coaches are always happy to provide advice and tips to help you get started.
Some people find it a steep learning curve, while others pick it up quickly—but the best way to find out is to give it a go!
-
Being a member does not entitle members to be selected for fixtures. However, we have a vast array of playing opportunities that cater for all levels. It is rare that more members are available than spaces available.
-
Yes! We have 5 senior sides meaning we are able to provide cricket at the right level for everyone.
I have a question about junior membership…

We offer training from 8-18.
There are occasionally programmes for those ages 5-7 running which are advertised seperately.
-
Please get in touch with our Junior Convenor, Suet, at playcricketatwestofscotland@gmail.com.

Absolutely not! We have newbies join us every year. A lot of our coaching for younger children focusses on catching, throwing and hitting in fun games which are vital lessons for all children!
-

In addition, we continue hardball coaching for U14 and U16 at the cricket club in Partick.
I have a question about something else…
