Moneeb’s International Summer Begins!

Our Club coach Moneeb Iqbal has been back with the Scotland men’s squad recently. He travelled to Zimbabwe as Assistant Coach and is now heading to the Netherlands for the next round of international fixtures.

The team played a mix of T20 and one-day matches in Harare, finishing with a 2–1 series win over Zimbabwe ‘A’. Moneeb was part of the coaching setup throughout, continuing the work he’s been doing with the national side for some time. When not helping the squad, Moneeb continued his exploration of the world’s gyms. I suspect mainly the weights section!

He’s also been putting in the hours with our own players this season. We’ll miss having him around the club over the next few weeks, but we’re looking forward to seeing him back and are very proud of his role with the national side. Scotland play at Forfarshire and Clydesdale later this summer, and Moneeb will be back in the coaching seat there too.
