100 Join An Evening for West

On 4 September 2026 we welcomed around one hundred West of Scotland Cricket Club members and friends for a memorable evening hosted at Hillhead CC.

Guests enjoyed a 3 course meal and entertainment provided by legendary Scotland goalkeeper, Alan Rough. MC, Allan Sneddon, was a lively host throughout the evening which was brought to a close with a raffle draw and auction, both of which were very generously engaged with.

The evening was the perfect way to end the 2025-26 event calendar and the funds raised (in excess of £6,000!) will be invaluable to developments at West.

We’d like to give a massive thanks to Alan and Allan for the evening’s entertainment, to all of our guests for their wonderful support, and to Dougie McCrea whose contributions to organising the evening deserve special mention, especially as he was not able to attend the event himself!
