£2,500 raised for St Margaret’s Hospice in memory of John Cameron

In July, we held a special memorial day in honour of John Cameron. Despite the rain interrupting part of the afternoon, it was a wonderful occasion filled with cricket, a three-course meal, a raffle, tree planting, and heartfelt tributes to celebrate John’s life. The day also raised valuable funds for St Margaret’s Hospice.

We are delighted to announce that thanks to everyone’s generosity, the final total raised was just shy of £2,500.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported, donated, and helped make the day such a fitting tribute. Cammy’s memory will always be part of our club, and this event showed just how much he meant to so many.
