John Cameron Memorial Day

Hello!

We warmly invite you to join us for a special memorial day to celebrate the life of Cammy, held during our fixture against the XL Club on Sunday 6th July. Cammy was a huge part of both West and XL Club, and we look forward to coming together to celebrate his life!

About the Day

The match will be played in three sessions, with breaks for lunch and tea. The game will start at 11:30am with lunch at 1pm and tea at 15:45.

We’ll also take time during the day to plant a tree and install a memorial plaque in Cammy’s honour. A raffle will be held, with all proceeds – along with all other profits from the day – going to St Margaret’s Hospice, who provided wonderful care to Cammy.

What’s Included

  • A two-course lunch and traditional cricket tea

  • Access to the full day’s cricket and memorial activities

  • Use of the clubhouse bar throughout the day

Ticket Prices

  • £20: Non-playing guests

  • £30: Playing participants (further info for those who wish to play will be shared in due course by each respective club).

In case of bad weather, lunch and the tree planting will still go ahead indoors.

Please sign up below to confirm your place, and help us plan for catering numbers. We have also included the option to donate to the hospice - this is optional.

We’d love to see as many of Cammy’s friends, teammates, and supporters as possible on the day.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
