West’s Lauren Payas represents Gibraltar in Prague

Congratulations to West of Scotland’s Lauren Payas who recently captained Gibraltar in three games as part of two limited overs tournaments held in Prague, Czechia.

Gibraltar triumphed with five wins out of six against the host nation and Croatia, as Lauren played a significant role across both a t10 and t20 tournament (which Gibraltar won).

Lauren told us: “It was a great experience to represent my country again surrounded by such a lovely team in Prague. Everyone gave their all and it was an honour to captain the side and play a role in winning the t10 tournament. 8 games in 5 days was tough - but it was such an enjoyable time”.
