Senior Teams

McCrea FS West of Scotland XI

The McCrea FS West of Scotland XI is the pinnacle of senior cricket at West. The side has an illustrious history, winning honours at both national and regional level. In 2022, they won the McCulloch Cup in a thriller against Clydesdale. Currently captained by James Fennah, the team plays in the WDCU Premiership 1, as well as various midweek T20 competitions and the Scottish Cup.

Partick XI

The Partick XI constitutes West’s 2nd XI and currently plays in the WDCU Premiership 3. Recently, the side has been incredibly successful in various competitions, winning at least one trophy in the last few seasons. Currently captained by Ben Cole, the Partick XI’s goal is to be promoted into Premiership 2.

Hamilton Crescent XI

The Hamilton Crescent XI came into existence in 2019 and currently competes in WDCU Championship 2. Led by Tom Broadley, the side aims to provide a competitive cricket environment in which to bring juniors into senior cricket. The side has a mix of players with a range of experiences and abilities.

Sunday XI

The Sunday XI, captained by Andrew Strong, plays in the WDCU Sunday League along with numerous friendly fixtures. The side provides an opportunity for our numerous adult playing members to play in a relaxed and sociable environment.

Midweek XI 

The Midweek XI competes in the WDCU Mid-Week Division 1. This is a competitive T20 league where the side play against a mix of teams across the WDCU. The side is currently led by MS Dhillon.

Development XI

The Development XI plays on a Sunday in a range of semi-competitive environments. Currently captained by John McDermott, the side provides an opportunity for juniors to get their first taste of senior cricket. The side also provides an opportunity for beginners and returning cricketers to play the game in a fun and friendly environment under the guidance of seasoned players to enhance development.
